Welcome to TrendX, a systematic trading platform operated by TrendX Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App") and our website located at trendxpro.in (the "Site").

01 · Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as information automatically generated through your use of the App and Site.

  • Personal Data: When you register for an account (e.g., via Google Sign-In, Apple Login, or email), we collect your name, email address, profile picture (if applicable), and account credentials.
  • Usage and Device Data: When you access the App or Site, we automatically collect certain technical details, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, push notification tokens, connection timestamps, latency metrics, server log entries, and crash reports.
  • Analytics: Information about how you interact with our features, strategy builds, backtests, and user interface.

Brokerage and Financial Integration Data: To enable systematic trading setups, you may choose to connect your accounts with third-party brokerage platforms (such as Zerodha, Angel One, Upstox, Dhan, Groww). We collect API keys, access tokens, and connection metadata necessary to route orders to your broker.

IMPORTANT: TrendX does NOT store your brokerage account password or pin. All integrations are authenticated securely via your broker’s official secure login portals or API keys. We may retrieve your active orders, open positions, and account balances solely to display status logs within the App and execute your automated strategies.

02 · How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Platform Operation: To run your trading strategies, perform backtests, evaluate real-time signals, and display active portfolios.
  • Notifications: To send real-time push alerts, email updates, and confirmations when your specified setups trigger or when orders execute.
  • Performance Tuning: To monitor latency, debug code execution issues, and optimize our server infrastructure.
  • Support: To investigate issues or respond to your support queries.
  • Security: To protect against unauthorized logins, detect malicious activities, and ensure compliance with SEBI and exchange regulations.

03 · Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following scenarios:

  • Brokerage Partners: When you trigger a trade, order routing information is transmitted to your selected broker API.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Service Providers: We use cloud hosting (such as Cloudflare and database providers) and authentication tools (such as Firebase Auth) to run our platform securely.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, SEBI regulations, court order, or exchange directives, we may disclose your information.

04 · Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your data. Your brokerage API credentials and access tokens are encrypted. We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide services to you or comply with statutory retention requirements.

05 · Your Rights and Choices

  • Account Deletion: You can delete your account and associated strategy configurations directly from the App settings or by contacting us.
  • Manage Integrations: You can revoke TrendX's access to your broker account at any time by deleting the API token/keys or logging out of the broker in the App.
  • Push Notifications: You can disable push notifications at the device OS level.
